Introduction

Green Force grow local food in Romsey Community School allotments. We are a group who enjoy growing (or trying to) healthy and tasty food with our own hands (usually dirty). You get the opportunity to grow your own whilst building your skills and sharing surplus with our local community pantry.

The pantry provides a ‘helping hand’ not a hand out approach to those who are struggling in our communities.

We are a supportive group of each other and novice gardeners are supported by our very own ‘Alan Titchmarshs’. We offer shared resources, so no spade, no trouble! Always happy to share if you wish, especially just starting out.

Supporting Bodies

We are with The RHS School Gardening and HDRA Garden Organic Schools. Both organisations advocate a policy of sustainable organic practice which it is encouraged to follow. This means we have lots of compost preparation with worms and minibeasts (smelly)!
